The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, holding the distinction as the "Oldest and Largest" Black Chamber in the Nation, was established in 1926. The annual banquet features the DBCC/Community Service Award established in 1985 to honor individuals who have made significant volunteer contributions to the civic enhancement of Dallas' African American Community.
